The Ultimate Gated Community

Have you ever wanted to live in a community where everyone is stopped by an armed officer and asked to present a government-issued photo ID for everyone in the car, and all visitors are expected to get out of their cars while their cars are completely searched? Well, that is where I live. I know that many of my friends have never been to an Army post so I thought I would let you in on what it is like.

If you want to visit my house, you have to go through the gate that I described above. Here is what it looks like:

You might be surprised that an Army post is sort of like its own city. We have many housing neighborhoods, a hospital, grocery stores, fast food restaurants, gas stations, Starbucks, bowling alleys, and an ice skating rink. I don't have to leave post for very many things. Come visit me if you want to experience it for yourself.
