Growth Spurts Stink!

Yesterday Carli had another growth spurt. She ate more often than normal, for much longer than normal, and often seemed like she wanted more. At the last feeding of the day, she nursed for almost an hour, so I finally had Chris give her a bottle of thawed breast milk. She drank 3 more ounces from the bottle on top of what I fed her. She chowed it down! But at least she finally seemed satisfied. Her sleep was thrown off as well. She stayed wide awake for another hour after the last feeding when she normally passes out immediately . At least it was her quiet awake state, so I let her watch a mobile while I went to bed. Today we are back to normal again. Thank goodness! I am not looking forward to her next growth spurt.
